Cooper Agency is a trading name of StoreBuilder Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09590027. StoreBuilder Ltd is the data controller for anything you send through this site.
What is collected
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number and website if you give them, what the enquiry is about, and whatever you write in the message.
The form also records which page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on, the site that sent you here, and any campaign tags in that first address, so StoreBuilder Ltd knows what prompted the enquiry.
If you use the AI visibility check, the website address you enter is sent to Anthropic, whose model Claude runs the check: it reads that site's public pages and asks Claude the questions a buyer would. Nothing else about you is sent with it. The result and its evidence, meaning the questions asked and the answers given, are stored so that a repeat check of the same address within a week shows the stored result.
To limit each visitor to three checks a day, the check keeps a one-way scrambled copy of your IP address, never the address itself.
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking on this site, and it sets no cookies. Nothing is collected if you simply read a page.
Why, and on what basis
To reply to you and, if the work goes further, to scope and quote it. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted a supplier about a commercial project and expect an answer.
Who sees it
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and delivered to a company email account. The AI visibility check is run through Anthropic, and what it stores is held with Netlify. They are not sold, shared for marketing, or passed to anyone outside StoreBuilder Ltd without asking you first.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Where work follows, records are kept for as long as the engagement and its accounting obligations require.
For the AI visibility check, the scrambled copy of your IP address is deleted after 2 days, and the result and its evidence after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email tony.cooper@webuildstores.co.uk and it will be actioned. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
